Joseph Jenkins, DDS
Dr. Jenkins was born and raised in a small town in southeastern Ohio. He and his wife are excited to have Puyallup as their new home and enjoy the small town feel that this community offers. They enjoy hiking and exploring the beautiful mountains here in Washington .
Dr. Jenkins completed a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Cincinnati and then received his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2020, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He went on to receive advanced training in general dentistry with a focus on oral surgery from one of the top dental residencies in the nation at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The additional training allowed him to develop expertise in the areas of:
- Dental implants
- Bone grafting
- Wisdom teeth extraction
- IV sedation
- Prosthodontics

Vernon Zander, DDS
Dr. Zander was raised in Maple Valley and loves living in Washington! Dr. Zander has always had a passion for medicine and helping others. He graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) with a degree in Basic Medical Science. He then went on to train at Sacred Heart and earned a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology which he used both before and during his dental school training to run lab tests and treat patients at Overlake Hospital.
For dental School Dr. Zander attended the University of Washington where he graduated knowing he was interested in both making his patients as comfortable as he can, and knowing he loved oral surgery. He then went on to a residency in Las Vegas where he learned more about advanced dentistry including implants, wisdom teeth extractions, and IV sedation to help his patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. It was here he met Dr. Jenkins and convinced him to move to Washington. Now that he is back in the PNW he is excited to help treat those in his home and build relationships along the way.
Outside of dentistry Dr. Zander loves to be outside. He loves to ski, bike, hike, and travel.
