Meet Dr. Vernon Zander
Vernon Zander, DDS
Dr. Zander grew up here in Washington State and is thrilled to be back in the pacific northwest and close to home! When he is not in the office he enjoys all of the pacific northwest activities like hiking, skiing, and biking.
Dr. Zander completed his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) from the University of Washington but did his undergraduate schooling at Washington State so he is a Coug through and through. After completing dental school he continued his training at the University of Nevada Las Vegas residency program where he met Dr. Jenkins. This residency focused on advanced dental procedures like wisdom teeth extractions, IV sedation, and dental implants and is one of the best residencies in the nation.

Dr. Zander’s passion is in making his patients feel as comfortable as possible at the dental office. He understands that the dentist can be an intimidating place and he will work with you to find the best options and treatment to make your visits to Ascend Dental as easy as they can be.

Outside the Office
Dr. Zander loves being outside and traveling. He spends most of his weekends in the summer hiking and his weekends in the winter skiing. He has recently gotten into mountaineering and shares a goal with Dr. Jenkins to attempt a summit of Mt. Rainier each year.
When he is not exploring the pacific northwest Dr. Zander loves to explore different cultures and experiences through traveling. He loves hearing about other people experiences and suggestions!
